White heads to jail

Former accountancy student, Thomas White, has been jailed after being found guilty of helping to operate a dark web business dedicated to the sale of illegal drugs, and for hoarding a catalogue of horrific child sex abuse imagery.
After dropping out from an accountancy degree at Liverpool John Moores University (the 24 –year old managed one term), the former Silk Road administrator launched Silk Road 2. The FBI had closed the notorious dark web site in 2013.
He was finally jailed in April 2019 to 5 years and four months are pleading guilty to drug trafficking, money laundering and making 464 category A indecent images of children.
The National Crime Agency investigators seized 50 bitcoin, which have a current value of £192,000.
