CIMA trainees are the best paid PQs in Wales, according to the latest Hays salary survey.
A CIMA finalist can expect to earn over £2,000 more than their ACA and CIPFA colleagues.
CIMA PQs at semi-senior and trainee level also top the take home pay table.
However, many Welsh finalists will be earning less than the UK average, which is £32,198.
The average salary for AATs in Wales is a healthy £21,000. That’s £2,500 more than someone doing the same job in the North East, and £3,000 more than the average in Yorkshire.
