ACCA EXAMS DAY FOUR
08 September 2017
September exam feed for F6, P3 and P6
Section A was ‘a bit brutal on dates’ – there were a lot of dates and admin elements.
Section C was described as a nightmare and just plain horrible.
So, section B was everyone’s favourite! They loved the VAT…
Time pressure was very much in evidence here. when it came to Q1.
However, Q2 and 4 were a godsend! Easy marks were available here for the theory and application of the Mendelow and Ansoff Matrix.
Students believe its time for the examiner to take a look at the length of exam questions. Many sitters believe the current set-up leaves them writing so fast that their hands are “literally trembling” at the end.
Q1 was difficult and too many students got bogged down in it. One PQ said they hated Q1 and just spent ages re-reading the question again and again.
The Open Tuition instant poll had a lot of ticks in the hard/disaster box!
