Show me the money
13 March 2019
The expectation gap between finance professionals and employers seems to be widening.
Money seems the big driver, with some 90% of accountants saying that salary was the most important factor when looking for a job. However, just 60% of employers thought this would be the case.
And while just 6% of employers believe location to be the least important part of the job offer, accountants vote it as their second most important factor (63%).
Number three on the list of important elements in a job offer for employees is job title. Only then does working hours and flexible working come into play.
