Latest CIMA pass rates
08 February 2018
CIMA has released its latest set of pass rates and apart from a slight dip in a couple of the case study exams everything seems to be ‘holding steady’.
CIMA exam chief Steve Flatman explained that the November case study sittings were the biggest since the new syllabus was introduced. He promised PQ magazine his learning team will be working with regional colleagues to help those who weren’t successful in the November 2017 operational and management case study to have “a better chance of passing”. He also put the dip in pass rates down to the different cohort.
The first-time OT pass rates showed that students and their tutors were doing better when it comes to P2. It now has a first-time pass rate of 58%. This compares to the F2 first-time pass rate of 55%. P1 remains the exam to ‘beat’. It still has a 50% pass rate, the lowest of all the OTs.
