CIMA exam chief Steve Flatman explained that the November case study sittings were the biggest since the new syllabus was introduced. He also put the dip in pass rates down to the different cohort.

The first-time OT pass rates showed that students and their tutors were doing better when it comes to P2. It now has a first-time pass rate of 58%. This compares to the F2 first-time pass rate of 55%. P1 remains the exam to ‘beat’. It still has a 50% pass rate, the lowest of all the OTs.
