ACCA December exam feedback...
One student said: “F9 was an awful paper today. MCQs were particularly bad, they left so much of the syllabus untested. Also a few very vague questions in there!”
Another PQ felt that apart from a couple of MCQs it felt that working capital management ‘didn’t exist’.
On other noticeboards it seems the exam was seen as easier than previous sittings. The MCQs will be the key determinant, said one sitter.
P4’s Q1 was ‘a nightmare’ for many. All about bond calculations and interest.
The exam was felt to be time pressured ‘as normal’, but that Q1 kept coming up. It was variously described as ‘confusing’, ‘a real shocker’, ‘laughable’, and ‘oddball’.
For several students this was the hardest ACCA exam so far.
It wasn’t all bad, as Q3 was a straight-forward financial analysis question with ratios and comments. Q2’s NPVs also went down well.
